Ohopaki General Contracting & Mechanical, Inc. Services

Through the combined experiences of our leaders and our team, Ohopaki is able to offer our clients expert service in a variety of capacities. Whether projects fall into the Government, Industrial, Public Works, or Commercial sectors, we have the skill and proficiency to get the job done efficiently and with the utmost attention to quality and service.

General Contracting

For those clients that prefer the traditional design-bid-build Ohopaki offers general contracting capabilities. We are able to guarantee a high quality of work because we utilize an elite group of pre-qualified subcontractors during the bid process. Our relationship with our subcontractors and suppliers ensures our ability to deliver that quality.
The traditional design-bid-build approach remains one of the most popular delivery methods for construction projects. This delivery method provides the client with the most checks and balances because drawings and specifications are complete prior to contractor selection and there are separate entities reporting to the client, each with distinct roles and responsibilities.
As a general contractor, Ohopaki organizes the project by scope and specialty. We then engage subcontractors that have a proven track record of performance in the following areas:
  • Site work
  • Foundations / concrete
  • Building erection
  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
  • Mechanical systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing and fire protection
  • Control systems
  • System installation
  • Finish work
  • Landscaping

Heavy Civil Construction

Infrastructure construction projects like highways, streets, bridges, underground utilities, and drainage facilities are some of the most difficult to coordinate and build. But thanks to the progressive and innovative management by Ohopaki, even the most challenging civil construction project can be a success.

Extensive project experience, combined with our expertise in all contracting methods, means we can make your civil construction project work, no matter the constraints. Specific experience in the transportation sector includes construction of highways, bridges, streets, and airfield facilities. Ohopaki also constructs dams, drainage facilities, and pumping stations, and it offers extensive underground experience on civil construction projects such as water transmission and distribution lines, large fiber-optic communication installations, large and small sanitary sewer systems, and other underground utilities.

We serve the needs of both public and private sector clients throughout the South Central and Southeastern regions of the country and every Ohopaki employee working on your project is committed to achieving the highest quality of work and safety standards.
